Humanitarian Aid from Egypt and Jordan Reaches Gaza Strip

Trucks carrying humanitarian aid from Egypt have crossed the Rafah border crossing into the Gaza Strip. The French news agency published images of the trucks, which were loaded with white sacks. Some bore the logo of the Egyptian Red Crescent and others the flags of the United Arab Emirates.

At the same time, Jordan announced the dispatch of a convoy of 60 trucks carrying nearly 1,000 tons of food. The Jordanian vehicles are expected to enter the northern part of the Gaza Strip from the Israeli Zikim crossing.
