Zelenskyy: Kyiv-US Meeting on Saturday to Restart Negotiations

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that a Kyiv delegation will meet with American negotiators in the US on Saturday to restart talks aimed at ending the Russian invasion.

"The Ukrainian team, especially the political part of the team, is already on its way. We expect a meeting in the US this Saturday," the Ukrainian president said in his daily video address, adding that it is "time to put an end" to the "pause" in negotiations, which had been interrupted after the war in the Middle East.

Zelenskyy added that "we will do everything to ensure that the talks can be truly meaningful" and that they have received messages from the American side showing their readiness to continue working to end the war.
