Zelensky: Law for voluntary recruitment of over 60s

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a law allowing the voluntary recruitment of people over 60 into the armed forces.
The measure allows volunteers over 60 to serve in non-combat positions, provided they pass medical examinations and their application is approved by the military authorities. A two-month probationary period will follow.
The law sets no upper age limit for volunteers. Ukraine faces manpower shortages and has taken various measures to attract soldiers.
Due to martial law, adult men are not allowed to leave the country, with exceptions.
