Zelenskyy Approves Law for Voluntary Enlistment Over 60

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a law allowing voluntary enlistment of individuals over 60 years of age into the armed forces.
This measure allows volunteers over 60 to serve in non-combat roles, provided they pass medical examinations and their request is approved by military authorities. There is no upper age limit.
Ukraine is facing personnel shortages due to the ongoing Russian invasion and has taken various measures to attract soldiers, such as lowering the conscription age.
Due to martial law, men are not allowed to leave the country, with exceptions. Some avoid conscription or pay to leave.
