Zelenskyy: 'Only Trump Can Stop the War' - Hints at Europeans

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that only the United States, specifically President Trump, has the power to persuade Russia to end the war. The statement comes ahead of a new round of talks between envoys from Moscow and Kyiv in Miami.

Zelenskyy responded to comments by Emmanuel Macron regarding potential direct Europe-Russia talks if Washington's efforts fail. Zelenskyy also mentioned that Ukraine would support trilateral talks (Russia-Ukraine-USA) provided they facilitate prisoner exchanges and pave the way for a summit.

He also stressed the need for increased US pressure on Russia, including the possibility of delivering more weapons to Ukraine or expanding sanctions. He reiterated that a compromise would be to maintain the current front lines, emphasizing Ukrainian control over the non-occupied part of Donbas.
