Zelenskyy: Russian Oil Sales Fund the War

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has criticized the extension of the suspension of US sanctions on Russian oil, arguing that every dollar spent on Russian oil contributes to funding Moscow's war in Ukraine.

The US Treasury Department decided to allow for one month the sale of Russian oil stored in tankers. The decision allows the sale, until May 16, of crude oil and petroleum products from Russia loaded on tankers before April 17.
