Zelenskyy Ready to Meet Putin to Discuss Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is ready to meet with Vladimir Putin to discuss outstanding issues related to ending the war, according to Ukrainian diplomacy chief Andriy Sybiha.
Territorial issues and the future of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant remain the main obstacles in negotiations. Russia demands territorial concessions, including the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Donbas (Donetsk and Luhansk) and other regions.
Zelenskyy has repeatedly requested a meeting with Putin, but the Kremlin has treated these proposals with caution. Recent talks between Kyiv and Moscow took place in the United Arab Emirates, mediated by the USA, and are expected to continue on February 1st in Abu Dhabi.
