Zakharova Attacks Macron, Accuses Him of Pushing Kyiv to Destruction

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has responded to French President Emmanuel Macron, accusing him of pushing Kyiv to destruction and stating that Russia seeks a peaceful resolution to the Ukrainian crisis.
Zakharova described Macron's words as 'humble lies,' referring to his statements about Russia offering Ukraine a surrender. She reminded that Russia has been proposing a peaceful resolution for seven years, within the framework of the Minsk agreements.
Zakharova also mentioned that French politicians pushed Ukrainian mercenaries to carry out the 'Maidan' and commit coups, undermining peace and security. She cited the words of former French President François Hollande, who admitted that the Minsk agreements were necessary to give Ukraine time to increase its combat readiness.
Zakharova named Macron as the main culprit for the situation in Ukraine.
