Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler reiterated that Turkey will not accept "unilateral actions" in the Aegean Sea. In an interview with the newspaper *Posta*, Güler claimed that Ankara considers itself a key factor for the stability of NATO and European security.

Güler emphasized that Turkey will not accept actions that limit its access to the open sea and international airspace. He also mentioned that there is no change in the rules of engagement for 2026.

The Turkish minister argued that the Turkish navy can operate from the Mediterranean to the Baltic Sea and that Turkey is investing in new military technologies, emphasizing the "Cyber Homeland" and the "Celestial Homeland".
