UK Opposes E1 Settlement Plan in West Bank

British Foreign Secretary David Lammy has voiced his opposition to the Israeli E1 settlement plan in the West Bank. He stated that if implemented, it would constitute a violation of international law and undermine the two-state solution.

The E1 plan involves the construction of 3,400 settler homes, which would bisect the occupied West Bank and cut it off from East Jerusalem. The Planning Committee of the Ministry of Defense approved the plan.

Lammy, in a post on the X platform, called on the Israeli government to revoke its decision, emphasizing that the implementation of the plan would divide the Palestinian state in two.
