Trump: Response Coming Soon for Iran's Haifa Attack

US President Donald Trump has warned Iran of an imminent response following the attack on a refinery in Haifa. Speaking to the New York Post, Trump stated that the response would be coming “soon.”

Trump left open the possibility of military escalation, urging Iran to agree “before it’s too late.” He claimed that Iran has expanded attacks on infrastructure in Kuwait, targeting water and electricity facilities.

The American president stated that it would be determined within the week whether the speaker of the Iranian parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, is willing to cooperate. He also claimed that there has been a change in the Iranian regime, with new figures being more willing to cooperate.

He also referred to the health status of Mojtaba Khamenei, son of the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, noting that he has not appeared publicly since February 28 and is reportedly “seriously injured.”
