Trump: "US-Greece relations have never been stronger"

United States President Donald Trump stated that relations between the US and Greece "have never been stronger." The statement was made during the credentials ceremony of the new Greek Ambassador to the US, Antonis Alexandridis, at the White House.

Trump called Greece a "valuable partner and ally" and emphasized the potential for further cooperation in shipping, trade, energy, and investment. He also referred to Greece's increase in defense spending towards the NATO target and exports of American liquefied natural gas.

Additionally, he expressed his appreciation for Greece's abstention from the adoption of the clean zero emissions framework by the International Maritime Organization. Finally, Trump expressed his admiration for Greece and his desire to visit, while requesting that greetings be conveyed to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
