Trump: 'US-Greece relations have never been stronger'

United States President Donald Trump stated that relations between the US and Greece 'have never been stronger' during the credentials ceremony of the new Greek Ambassador to the US, Antonis Alexandridis.
Trump called Greece a 'valuable partner and ally' of the US, emphasizing the high level of bilateral relations and the potential for further cooperation in areas such as shipping, trade, energy, and investment.
Furthermore, Trump referred to Greece's progress towards the NATO target for defense spending and its leadership within the Alliance. He also expressed his support for US liquefied natural gas exports and the Vertical Corridor, as well as his appreciation for Greece's abstention from the adoption of the clean zero emissions framework by the International Maritime Organization.
Trump asked Ambassador Alexandridis to convey his greetings to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and expressed his admiration for Greece.
