Trump, Netanyahu Aim to End Gaza War in 2 Weeks: Report

In a phone call following the U.S. strike in Iran, Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to pursue a swift end to the Gaza war within two weeks, according to *Israel Hayom*.
The report states that four Arab countries, including the United Arab Emirates and Egypt, are expected to jointly administer the Gaza Strip, replacing Hamas. The release of all hostages is also anticipated.
Arab countries have stated they will not participate in Gaza's reconstruction unless Israel accepts a role for the Palestinian Authority, a position Netanyahu has rejected. Hamas has also refused the exile of its leadership.
Marco Rubio and Ron Dermer also participated in the phone call. The plan includes a provision for the absorption of Gazan refugees by third countries.
The agreement also anticipates the establishment of diplomatic relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia, as well as Syria, and Israel's support for a future two-state solution, contingent on institutional reforms within the Palestinian Authority. The U.S. would recognize Israeli sovereignty over parts of the West Bank.
