Donald Trump reportedly inquired about the Nobel Peace Prize during a phone call with Norway's Minister of Finance to discuss trade tariffs, according to the newspaper Dagens Naeringsliv.

According to the report, Jens Stoltenberg, Norway's Minister of Finance, received a call from Donald Trump, who expressed interest in the Nobel Prize and also wanted to discuss tariffs.

The White House and the Norwegian Nobel Committee have not commented. Stoltenberg declined to provide details regarding the content of the conversation.

Norway and the USA are in talks regarding tariffs, following the announcement of 15% tariffs on imports from Norway by the White House.
