Trump: Rodriguez will pay a higher price than Maduro

US President Donald Trump stated that Venezuela's interim president Delcy Rodriguez will pay a higher price than Maduro if she does not do what is right.

Trump described Venezuela as bankrupt and devastated, adding that its reconstruction is not a bad thing. He also mentioned that other countries may face American intervention and that the United States needs Greenland.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the United States will cooperate with current Venezuelan officials if they make the right decisions, while maintaining pressure measures, including the oil embargo.

The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, described Trump's actions in Venezuela as illegal but consistent, arguing that he defends American interests and seeks control of Venezuela's oil supplies.
