Trump Releases Photo of Maduro After Arrest, Transfer to Guantanamo

Donald Trump has released a photo of Nicolás Maduro after his arrest. The photo shows the Venezuelan president with his eyes covered and hands tied on the American aircraft carrier Iwo Jima.

According to reports, Maduro is being transferred to Guantanamo.

Earlier, a Venezuelan media outlet published a photo of Maduro in handcuffs inside a military aircraft, accompanied by soldiers.

Trump stated on Truth Social that Maduro and his wife were arrested by Delta Force and transferred out of Venezuela. The Delta Force was also responsible for the operation that led to the death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Maduro has been wanted by the US since 2020 for drug trafficking.

Trump stated: "The United States of America has successfully carried out a large-scale attack against Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolás Maduro, who, along with his wife, was arrested and transported by air out of the country."
