Trump Denies Responsibility for Ukraine, Blames Biden

Former US President Donald Trump stated that the war in Ukraine is "Biden's war" and denied responsibility for its continuation. In a post on Truth Social, Trump claimed that Russian losses since the beginning of 2025 amount to 112,500 deaths, while Ukrainian losses are at 8,000.
Trump asserted he could end the war within 24 hours of taking office, but his new stance is interpreted as a gradual retraction. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin reiterated that Russia's strategic goals in Ukraine remain unchanged.
Putin emphasized that negotiations should be conducted "in a calm atmosphere and without cameras," and mentioned the recapture of the Ukrainian city of Chasiv Yar, which the Ukrainian side denies.
