Trump Threatens 'Total Destruction' of Iran

U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened to 'totally destroy' Iran, calling the Iranian regime 'terrorist'. The statement comes amid escalating tensions in the region.
Trump emphasized the strength of the U.S. armed forces, saying they have 'a firepower that is unmatched anywhere in the world, unlimited ammunition, and all the time needed'. He also called on the world to watch developments in Iran.
'We are totally destroying the Iranian terrorist regime, militarily, economically, and otherwise,' the Republican president stated.
Earlier, Trump had warned that the U.S. would hit Iran 'very hard during the next week'. He also mentioned that the U.S. Navy could escort oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz.
In another development, the deaths of all six crew members of a U.S. military KC-135 aircraft that crashed in western Iraq have been confirmed. The U.S. military command stressed that the crash was not due to hostile or friendly fire.
