Turkish C-130 Crashes on Georgia-Azerbaijan Border

A Turkish military transport aircraft, a C-130 type, has crashed on the border between Georgia and Azerbaijan, according to an announcement by the Turkish Ministry of Defense.
Search and rescue operations are underway with the participation of the authorities and armed forces of both countries. The aircraft had taken off from Azerbaijan bound for Turkey when it crashed in the mountainous region on the border.
A video circulating in Georgian media shows a plane crash, but it has not been confirmed that it is the Turkish C-130. The Turkish Ministry of Defense stated that search and rescue operations have begun in coordination with the authorities of Azerbaijan and Georgia.
