Turkey-Libya: First Contact After Hydrocarbons Memorandum

The first official high-level contact between Turkey and Libya took place in Istanbul, following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding for hydrocarbon research off the coast of Libya.

Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar met with his Libyan counterpart Khalifa Abdulsadek, discussing cooperation opportunities in the field of hydrocarbons.

A. Bayraktar stated that they can utilize Turkey's experience in this field for the common benefit of both countries.
