Turkey has proceeded with the acquisition of 20 Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets, in a deal that includes a high-tech ammunition package, according to Reuters.

The agreement includes MBDA Meteor air-to-air missiles, advanced short-range air-to-air missiles, and Brimstone ground attack missiles. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2030.

The opposition, led by Turhan Çömez of the Good Party, argues that Turkey has been overcharged compared to Germany, which also ordered 20 Eurofighter aircraft at a lower cost.
