Tehran Warns US and Israel May Falsely Blame Iran for Attacks

Tehran has warned that Israel and the US may carry out "provocative attacks", falsely attributing them to Iran.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei stated that Iran's armed forces "announce with courage and honor every target they hit."

He added that the US and Israel are likely to carry out provocative attacks, citing as an example a drone attack against Oman, claiming the US military staged it.

He also expressed concern that any attacks on targets in the US could be falsely attributed to Iran.

The statements came after the FBI warned police departments of a threat of attacks in California in retaliation for the war in Iran, according to ABC News.
