Ersin Tatar expressed his support for a two-state solution in Cyprus and called for an end to the 'isolation' of Turkish Cypriots at a meeting with the UK – pseudo-state 'parliamentary friendship group' in London.

According to a statement from the 'presidency', Mr. Tatar emphasized that he was supported by the 'people' for the vision of two states. He also recalled the cooperation initiatives agreed upon in Geneva and referred to statements by President Christodoulides.

Mr. Tatar highlighted the geopolitical importance of Cyprus and the presence of British bases on the island. He appealed for a review of British policy, given the presence of 350,000 Turkish Cypriots in the United Kingdom.

Additionally, Mr. Tatar met with former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, discussing issues related to Turkish-British relations.
