Strategic analyst John Sytilidis, speaking to protothema.gr, stated that Volodymyr Zelenskyy is in a weaker position compared to February, due to pressure from the battlefield and public opinion.

According to Sytilidis, there is no realistic solution for recovering all the territories lost by Ukraine. He also estimated that Donald Trump would not send American soldiers to Ukraine, as this would provoke a reaction from Moscow.

Sytilidis noted that Zelenskyy faces increasing internal opposition due to concerns about corruption and the suppression of freedoms. He also stressed that Europe cannot offer substantial long-term economic and military support to Ukraine compared to the USA.

Regarding the possibility of territorial concessions, Sytilidis stated that Zelenskyy has few options, given Trump's focus on competition with China and the weakened European economy.

Finally, he estimated that Trump would not approve the deployment of American forces to Ukraine, while peacekeeping forces could come from Turkey, China, and other countries.
