Greek-US Navy Chiefs Meet on Naval Equipment Programs

Hellenic Navy Chief Vice Admiral D.E. Kataras met with his US counterpart, Admiral Daryl Caudle, in Philadelphia PA, to discuss matters of mutual interest and strengthening cooperation between the two navies.

On the sidelines of the celebrations for the 250th anniversary of the US Navy, the Hellenic Navy Chief also met with the Chief of the French Navy, Vice Admiral Nicolas Vaujour, and spoke with Secretary of the Navy John Phelan.

In Washington DC, he met with the Director of the Naval International Programs Office (NIPO), Rear Admiral Raymond P. Owens III, to discuss the progress of the Hellenic Navy's equipment programs. He also visited the Greek Embassy and the US Naval Postgraduate School.
