Trump's Plan for Ukraine: Ceding Territory and Reducing Military

A plan reportedly promoted by Donald Trump to end the war in Ukraine involves ceding territory and reducing the size of the Ukrainian military.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reportedly been informed of the proposals by the US and is being urged to accept the main points of the plan.
Sources say that Trump's envoy for Ukraine, Steve Witkoff, has discussed the plan with Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev and Zelenskyy's national security advisor, Rustem Umerov.
Washington is reportedly asking Zelenskyy to accept the framework, which includes ceding territory and surrendering weapons. According to the Financial Times, the proposal includes halving the Ukrainian army and surrendering Donbas. Zelenskyy is reportedly disappointed with the proposals.
