Alaska Summit: Bilateral Issues on Trump-Putin Agenda

A meeting took place in Anchorage, Alaska, between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, aimed at ending the Russo-Ukrainian war and improving relations between the two superpowers.

According to the Russian agency Tass, the possibility of controlling strategic offensive weapons was discussed. Donald Trump was accompanied by ministers Marco Rubio, Scott Besent, Howard Latnick, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, and Steve Witkoff.

Kirill Dmitriev, the Special Presidential Representative of Russia for Investments, stated that the meeting aims to restore relations between Russia and the USA, with an emphasis on economic cooperation. Potential cooperation on rare earth elements and the development of the economies of Alaska, Russia, and the USA were also discussed.
