Strait of Hormuz: Hundreds of Tankers Immobilized

Over 150 tankers and LNG carriers have been immobilized in the Strait of Hormuz, causing disruption to maritime traffic and energy transport in the region.

According to data from shipping companies, dozens more ships remain immobilized on the other side of the Strait. The reduced ship traffic in the area is also recorded on the Marine Traffic map, highlighting the seriousness of the situation.

Among the immobilized ships are tankers carrying crude oil and liquefied natural gas.
