Russian Technology Found in Drone that Hit Akrotiri

A kamikaze drone that struck the British base in Akrotiri contained Russian military hardware, according to the Sunday Times. The drone reportedly contained the Russian-made Kometa-B navigation system, first identified by Ukrainian air defenses in December. The components have been transferred to Britain for further analysis.
Analysts claim this is the first evidence of Russian military equipment being used in the conflict in Iran, raising concerns about Moscow's growing influence in the Middle East. The Sunday Times also reports that Russia is allegedly passing information to Iran regarding American forces in the region.
Andrei Kelin, Russia's ambassador to the United Kingdom, stated that his country is not neutral in the war and supports Iran. Sir Richard Knighton, head of the British armed forces, confirmed that Russia is providing information to Iran and that the attack on the Akrotiri base was launched from Lebanon by a group linked to Iran, likely Hezbollah.
