Russian Forces Attack Railway Infrastructure in Central Ukraine: Injuries Reported

Russian forces attacked railway infrastructure in the Poltava region of central Ukraine, injuring five people, officials said today. In the Myrhorod area, the attack resulted in one person being injured and fires breaking out, regional governor Volodymyr Kohut said in a post on Telegram.
The Ukrainian state railway company Ukrzaliznytsia said that the attack temporarily interrupted power supply to several stations and caused delays of up to three hours in passenger train schedules.
In recent months, Russian forces have been pounding Ukrainian railway infrastructure, carrying out attacks on hubs in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Kirovohrad regions, among others.
A drone attack late at night in the Poltava region damaged a gas station, causing a fire and injuring four people, according to emergency services. The Ukrainian Air Force said it shot down 48 of the 75 drones launched by Russia and reported 26 drone strikes in six locations.
