Russia: Oreshnik Missile Used Against Lviv Factory

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it used an Oreshnik missile against an aircraft factory in Lviv, Ukraine, during massive strikes on Friday. The use of the missile was condemned by the EU, Berlin, Paris, and London.

According to Moscow, the factory was used to repair and maintain aircraft, including F-16s and MiG-29s. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) confirmed the strike in the Lviv region and released images of debris.

The Russian strikes caused deaths in Kyiv and disrupted heating supplies. The UN Security Council is expected to meet following a request from Ukraine.
