Russia-Ukraine: Potential Meeting Locations for Putin and Zelenskyy

A potential meeting between Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy is being discussed following an announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump. Although neither side has confirmed such a meeting, various locations have been suggested.
Emmanuel Macron proposed a neutral country in Europe, mentioning Switzerland as a possible option. Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis stated that his country would grant immunity to Putin for a peace conference, despite the International Criminal Court charges. Geneva was mentioned as a suitable location.
Additionally, a senior U.S. government official mentioned that the meeting could take place in Hungary. The last direct talks between Russia and Ukraine took place in Turkey in June.
