Russia Claims Capture of Staritsa Community in Ukraine

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces have taken control of the Staritsa community in the Kharkiv region, near the Ukrainian-Russian border.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine acknowledged Russian attacks in the area, without confirming the capture of Staritsa.

Ukrainian forces launched missile and drone attacks on the Russian region of Belgorod, causing damage to infrastructure and buildings.
