Russian forces announced they hit a Sapsan missile storage site in the Donetsk region. Simultaneously, they claim to have thwarted a Ukrainian drone attack on the Smolensk nuclear power plant.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 300 Ukrainian drones were shot down. Fierce fighting is ongoing in the Donetsk region, where Ukrainian forces are trying to halt the Russian advance.

The Ministry of Defense added that Russian forces gained better positions near the settlement of Zoloti Kolodyaz, although pro-Ukrainian maps show that Ukrainian resistance has limited the Russian advance.

Furthermore, the ministry stated that aircraft, drones, and missiles were used to strike Ukrainian Sapsan missile storage sites throughout the country.
