Russian Envoy Arrives in Miami for Ukraine Talks

Kirill Dmitriev, special envoy of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has arrived in Miami for talks regarding the war in Ukraine.

According to Reuters, Dmitriev is scheduled to meet with Steve Witkoff, envoy of U.S. President Donald Trump, and Jared Kushner.

Ukrainian and European negotiators are also in Miami, though direct contact with Dmitriev is unlikely. Witkoff and Kushner met with Ukrainian negotiator Rustem Umerov and representatives from France, Britain, and Germany on Friday.

Following the talks, Umerov stated that his delegation agreed with the Americans “to continue working together in the near future.”
