RodrĂguez: 'Unprecedented Stain' on Venezuela-US Relations

Venezuela's interim president, Delsy RodrĂguez, denounced an 'unprecedented stain' on relations with the US following the American operation on January 3, which led to the capture of President Nicolás Maduro.
Despite the tension, RodrĂguez noted that trade continues, with PdVSA negotiating oil sales to the US. Donald Trump stated that Venezuela would deliver 30-50 million barrels of oil, with the proceeds used to purchase American products.
RodrĂguez emphasized the desire for international cooperation. Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello announced that the operation resulted in 100 deaths and approximately the same number of injuries.
