Putin Condemns US Oil Embargo on Cuba

Russian President Vladimir Putin has called the US oil embargo on Cuba "unacceptable" during a meeting with Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez at the Kremlin.
A top Russian diplomat stated that Moscow intends to send oil to Havana as humanitarian aid. Cuba's oil supply has dramatically decreased as Venezuela and Mexico suspended deliveries under US pressure.
Sergey Lavrov informed his Cuban counterpart that Moscow urged Washington not to impose a naval blockade on Cuba and to seek dialogue. The United Nations has called for the lifting of the US embargo, warning of humanitarian consequences.
