Ukrainian forces have struck Russian oil and gas facilities using Storm Shadow missiles and domestically produced long-range drones, according to Ukrainian officials.

The Ukrainian General Staff announced that its air forces used Storm Shadow cruise missiles to hit the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery in the Rostov region. The refinery is reportedly one of the largest suppliers of petroleum products in southern Russia, providing diesel and aviation fuel to Russian forces in Ukraine.

The SBU security services reported that Ukrainian-made long-range drones struck oil tanks in the Russian port of Temryuk and a natural gas processing plant in Orenburg. The Orenburg facility is the largest of its kind in the world.

In the Krasnodar region, Russian authorities reported that two tanks caught fire in the port of Temryuk following a drone attack. The Ukrainian General Staff also reported that its forces struck an airbase in the Russian city of Kaikop.

Kyiv has intensified attacks on Russian refineries since August, aiming to hit Moscow's revenues from the oil sector.
