Ukrainian Drones Target Defense Industry Facilities Across Russia

Ukrainian forces have launched a series of drone attacks targeting Russian defense industry facilities on Monday.
Reportedly, the Arzamas plant in the Nizhny Novgorod region, which produces optics, electronics, and navigation systems for military vehicles, aircraft, and missiles, was among the primary targets. Regional Governor Gleb Nikitin reported one fatality and two injuries.
In the Tula region, a Ukrainian drone strike on a civilian enterprise resulted in the death of two people and injuries to three others.
Additionally, the Saratov oil refinery in southwestern Russia was attacked by drones, causing explosions and a fire. Another oil refinery was attacked in the Komi Republic, damaging an oil tank and a gas processing unit.
The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed to have shot down over 30 Ukrainian drones over various regions, including annexed Crimea. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin stated that seven drones heading towards the capital were shot down.
Landing and takeoff bans were imposed at various Russian airports due to the Ukrainian drone raids.
