Ukraine Reports Strike on Russian Port in Astrakhan Region

Ukrainian armed forces have announced a strike on the port of Olya in Russia's Astrakhan region. According to the announcement, the attack targeted a ship carrying components for unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) and ammunition from Iran.

Ukraine claims that Russia uses the port as a key hub for supplying military equipment.

"On August 14, Ukrainian Special Operations Forces, in coordination with other Defense Forces units, struck the Russian port of Olya in the Astrakhan region," a related announcement stated.
