Ukraine: Explosion in Mykolaiv Injures Seven Police Officers

Seven police officers were injured in the city of Mykolaiv, southern Ukraine, following an explosion. Two of the injured are in serious condition. According to the head of the national police, Ivan Vyhivsky, the officers had just parked their vehicles for a shift change when the explosion occurred.
On Saturday, a policewoman was killed and 24 people were injured by an explosion in the city of Lviv. Vyhivsky stated in a Facebook post that the attack in Lviv was a terrorist act and that the enemy is deliberately trying to kill Ukrainian police officers.
Additionally, late at night, in the city of Dnipro, an explosion occurred at a police station, causing property damage. No injuries were reported. The police have not commented on the cause of the explosion.
