Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated that the world is safer after the summit between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin in Alaska. "For years, we have seen the two largest nuclear powers eliminate the framework of their cooperation," he said in a Facebook post, adding: "This is over now. The world is safer today than it was yesterday."

However, Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide called for greater pressure on Russia regarding the war in Ukraine. "We must continue to put pressure on Russia, and even increase it," he told reporters in Oslo.

Czech Defense Minister Jana Černochová noted that the Trump-Putin talks did not bring significant progress and confirmed that Putin is not seeking peace, but an opportunity to weaken Western unity and spread his propaganda. "The West must continue to support Ukraine," she emphasized in a post on X.
