UN: Up to 3.2 Million Displaced in Iran Since War Began

According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), up to 3.2 million people have been internally displaced in Iran since the start of the war on February 28.
The UNHCR reports that the estimate is based on preliminary assessments and may be revised. It also warns that the humanitarian situation may worsen further as hostilities continue.
"This number is likely to continue to rise as hostilities continue, marking a worrying escalation of humanitarian needs," the UNHCR said.
