Donald Trump to Visit Asia, Meet with Xi Jinping

Donald Trump is embarking on a tour of Asia, with a key meeting scheduled with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The meeting will take place in South Korea on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) summit on October 30.

Trump will also visit Malaysia and Japan. In Japan, he will meet with Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi. Discussions are expected to cover trade and defense spending.

The tour focuses on resolving the US-China trade war, which escalated with China's restrictions on rare earth exports. Trump has expressed optimism about reaching a bilateral trade agreement.

Additionally, there is a possibility of a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, although not officially confirmed.
