Donald Trump: US Navy Armada Heading to Persian Gulf

Donald Trump stated that a "huge" American naval "armada" is en route to the Persian Gulf, increasing pressure on Tehran.

"We have a lot of ships moving in that direction, in case we need them," he told reporters upon returning from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

American media reported that the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln was ordered to sail to the Middle East.

Trump stated that he is open to talks with Tehran.
