Nicaragua Ends Visa-Free Entry for 128 Countries

Nicaraguan authorities have announced the end of visa-free entry for citizens of 128 countries, including Venezuela, China, and Cuba. According to Reuters sources, this decision was made following pressure from the United States.
The U.S. has accused the Nicaraguan government, under President Daniel Ortega and his wife Rosario Murillo, of facilitating irregular migration to American territory by allowing Cubans and others to pass freely through its territory.
