Netanyahu: Israel Offers Solutions for Iran's Water Crisis
Share on:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a televised address, offered to help Iran address its severe water crisis. He highlighted Israel's water recycling technologies, emphasizing that his country recycles 90% of its water. Netanyahu criticized the Iranian government for mismanaging resources and prioritizing military spending over the basic needs of its citizens.

Netanyahu also reminded that for ten years, Israel has been providing information and water-saving techniques to Iranians through a Telegram channel. He pointed to the demonstrations that have erupted in Iran due to water shortages and power outages, linking the situation to the regime's suppression of human rights.

"The tyrants of Tehran have preferred to send hundreds of billions of dollars not to you, but to Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis," Netanyahu stated.

Analysts believe that the water crisis could prove pivotal for the Iranian regime, as water scarcity, combined with economic hardship and repression, is leading to growing discontent and protests.
