MI6 Turns to Dark Web to Recruit Russian Agents

The British Secret Intelligence Service MI6 is turning to the Dark Web to recruit Russian agents. It will use a new portal, the "Silent Courier," for the secure transfer of information.
MI6 chief Richard Moore is expected to officially announce the plan in a speech in Istanbul. The agency is calling on those with sensitive information about global instability and international terrorism to contact them securely online.
MI6 was founded in 1909 and officially recognized in the 1990s. While traditionally relying on in-person meetings, it is now turning to the anonymity of the dark web. Instructions for using the portal will be posted on the MI6 YouTube channel.
Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper stated that this move ensures that the United Kingdom remains one step ahead of its adversaries. Blaise Metreveli will succeed Moore as the first female head of MI6.
