Marco Rubio: Progress in Ukraine talks, but still a way to go

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated today that there has been progress in the talks to end the war in Ukraine, adding that "there is still a way to go."

Speaking to reporters during a press conference, Rubio added that the final issues are the most difficult. Ukrainian negotiators will begin a new round of talks today with the U.S. team regarding proposals to end the war with Russia, said the head of the Kyiv delegation, Rustem Umerov.

Umerov, who is in the United States for talks, also stated via a post on Telegram that Kyiv's European partners will participate in the talks.
